Sunflowers Fields

... and we ended our summer

Sunflowers are here, and summer is almost over. I always welcome summer with a big smile and bid farewell with big relief.
We can not wait for fall to be here, crisp air, changing leaves, and pumpkin-spiced everything.
Sunflowers are the beginning, and we love it. We enjoyed our day trip to Doswell, Virginia. Where we got to see the sunflowers bloom at their peak.
Sunflowers are beautiful, and even Al likes it a lot. We planted Mammoth Sunflowers that grew well effortlessly. Sadly, after three days blooming the sunflowers got hit by a nasty storm and it broke it.
Next year we will plan more sunflowers in the garden.
